The team at Twiggs recently arranged a celebration party to recognise long service. Partners were invited to drinks and dinner at the recently refurbished Haarlem Mill in Wirksworth, with over one hundred there on the night, and a fabulous time was had by all.
Eleven Twiggs staff have now given more than 25 years’ service to the company that has been trading since 1905. The total from those 11 is a staggering 375 years! The total length of service from all 65 staff is now over 1000 years of experience.
Managing Director Richard Tarbatt gave a speech on the evening to thank the staff:
“David, Sheila and myself would like to congratulate and thank you all for your continuing, long and loyal service to Twiggs. Excellent service can only be provided by committed, loyal and experienced staff. I am very proud of and grateful to you all.”
Pictured below are (clockwise from the top) Twiggs staff and partners, Joan Williams receiving flowers in recognition of being the longest serving member of the team – 53 years and still going strong, the 11 members of the 25 year plus team with the directors, and Pat Smith receiving a presentation watch in recognition of 25 years service from David Allen (Chairman and William Twigg’s grandson) and Richard Tarbatt.
Thank you to Haarlem Mill for the amazing evening and providing such a fantastic venue
