This year Twiggs have decided instead of doing calendars, we are making a donation to the Sheffield Children’s Hospital. Pictured is our Managing Director, Richard Tarbatt handing over a cheque for £1500 to Tchad Western, the Children’s Hospital Charity Corporate Partnerships Manager & Chief Fun Officer!
“We’re delighted that Twiggs have made this donation and are very appreciative of their ongoing support towards us reaching our ambitious target to raise £14m for the 3 projects we have identified,” said Tchad.
Richard Tarbatt, Twiggs Managing Director commented, “From personal experience we know what a superb facility the hospital is. Although the NHS funds the day to day functions of the hospital and it attracts world class professionals in their fields, we know these additional projects will save additional lives and you cant put a price on that. We’re delighted to be able to support the Children’s Hospital this year and we look forward to an ongoing partnership with them.”
Sheffield Children’s Hospital is a specialist children’s hospital, providing world class care for children all over Yorkshire, across the UK and beyond. Three new world-class wards opened in April 2018, with £10m of donations.
The new projects at the hospital include the redevelopment of the Emergency Department, Child Assessment Unit and Cancer and Leukaemia ward as well as a new helipad. In order to make these a reality, The Children’s Hospital Charity needs to raise £14.25 million.
