William Twigg (Matlock) Ltd, more commonly known as Twiggs, is a family run engineers’ merchants, steel stockholder and steel fabricator established in Matlock, Derbyshire in 1905 by William Twigg.  Four generations of the Twigg family have contributed to the success of the business and innovation and investment continues today – we are still growing! We welcome both trade and public customers.

Our Stores section carries a vast range of products in stock for most trades. All Stores products are available to see online and account customers can order from the catalogue.  We offer free next working day delivery within Derbyshire from our Stores. Our fast, frequent delivery service for steel stock and fabricated steel has a small fixed charge of just £15.00 + VAT regardless of order size for deliveries within a 25-mile radius. Our 60 staff have more than 1,000 years’ combined experience and expertise in the trades and steel world – they understand your challenges and are always on hand to advise.
